Jorge Paiva, j\u00e1 aposentado, releu \u00abOs Lus\u00edadas\u00bb e, por ser bot\u00e2nico, n\u00e3o ficou inc\u00f3lume \u00e0s plantas referidas por Cam\u00f5es. Assim nasceu o entusiasmo pela poesia camoniana e o prop\u00f3sito de identificar todas as plantas mencionadas na sua obra po\u00e9tica, tendo para tal concorrido o facto de ter estudado em Coimbra e participado em expedi\u00e7\u00f5es bot\u00e2nicas em algumas das regi\u00f5es a que o poeta faz refer\u00eancia.<\/p>\n
