Its broadcasting point is located at the Biblioteca Sonora (Sonic Library), located in the Municipal Public Library of Porto, which radiates all the stations of the Porto City Museum and the urban space between them.
We bring the sound and the experience of listening that crosses the stations and the exhibitions and manifests itself in a project of a radio in abyss.
It is embodied in the creation of a programme of collaborations with poets, storytellers, composers, sound designers and musicians from the electro-acoustic field, to produce original narratives, compositions and soundscapes, inspired by or specifically conceived for and from the various stations and exhibitions of the Porto City Museum and the surrounding public space.
Radio Station is one of the main manifestations.
The parks and gardens around the Porto City Museum constitute a territory within a territory,
and offer a privileged space for thinking about, and experimenting with, practices that can help us rescue the diversity of the natural world.
An axis is traced between the Reservoir and the Bonjóia Nature Extension, passing by the Archeo-site, in the heart of the Cathedral, that reactivates a contour of memory, formed by vestiges and gestures.

Avoiding a historicist view, the aim is to understand this lineage and to establish a sensible approach at this current and about what romanticism is in today’s world.
We will map sites associated to water – reservoirs, underground rivers or open water courses, fountains and drinking fountains.
